Tynan got strep throat again. Poor guy! He spent a couple of days sleeping like a teenager. He was diagnosed right after Grandma Wendy, Grandpa Eric, and Aunt Nikki came for a visit. So far, nobody else has come down with it, thankfully!

Searching

Things I learned about searching for pumpkins:
-Grandpa Eric dislikes pumpkin patches.
-Research corn mazes beforehand.
-Write down addresses.
-Set aside a whole day for activities.
-Or consider finding a small pumpkin patch in an out of the way area to avoid crowds!

Well, at least we got some pictures with some pumpkins in them!

Tynan has gotten better at this song just in the two weeks since we recorded this, but I had to post it anyway. He likes spiders! Last year, he was a spider for Halloween. He likes the spider song. He has a book about the itsy bitsy spider. And let's not forget the day I found him playing with a spider!! Gross! Blech! Ach! Icky!

Liz and Timmy's Wedding

Liz works in the lab where I work. Last year, Tynan and I went to her Halloween party and had loads of fun. On this day, she and Timmy had their wedding and reception at a beautiful barn. Tynan went wild! He really wanted to catch a chicken. I don't know what he planned to do when he caught one.


We were a little bit late arriving, so this is the only picture I got of the ceremony. D'oh!

Liz's wedding photographer took this picture, and Liz was so sweet to send it to me. I love it!

Bath Burrito!

Drive Home

Quick Trip

The day after the zoo, we drove to see family. Tynan's great aunt and uncle were in the states from England. I realized later that we forgot to get any pictures of them. I felt terrible! But anyway, here is Tynan practicing yoga with his cousin Aubryanna. Silly kids!

Tigers

Here is Tynan with Christy at the lion's den at the zoo. Tynan insists on calling them tigers. Silly boy!


Here is Tynan in the treehouse. We have a picture of him in the treehouse when he was about 7 months old. I think it is posted on the blog for April 09. (I can't put it in this post right now because it's on the external hard drive and I'm being lazy and don't want to find the external hard drive, hook it up, upload the picture, or move the picture around in the post. I just got off work after a 10 hour shift and that sounds way too hard right now!)


Tynan was afraid to sit in the car alone, so Christy got in with him. Silly boy!

He loved riding the tigers!

He really liked feeding the goats and sheep. I was so happy because he wasn't afraid of them this time. There was a pregnant goat that kept butting the other animals aside to get to us.

I haven't posted in quite a while. It seems like things are so hectic! I have a milestone birthday coming up, a friend just got married and we attended the wedding and bachelorette party and bridal shower, I went to my first concert in three years, and we've all had various assorted dental work and illnesses and work meetings going on. Plus, I've been knitting all year, and here it is less than 3 months before Christmas and my pile of completed knit gifts is woefully small. Gaaah! Things are insane!
